I agree the 635 is already fantastic. My e28 was built with a lot of the same nuts and bolts. I don't feel that modifying this car, or most other BMW of the last 70's and 80's to be sacrilegious at all. The only one I wouldn't touch is an e30 M3. It's so very rare and other e30 are cheaper and just as a rewarding.

Excuse me. I meant "Koup".

I had a delightful little story about the Kia Forte Koupe I'm borrowing at the moment fully typed out and ready for submission, but I accidentally hit the back button and is all gone. So instead of retyping it, I'll just say that with the 6 spd and a peppy 2.4, it took me off guard and had the ability to induce a

I had an 88 535i. It was fantastic. I also had 2 e30s. If I had the chance to get rebuy either model, I'd go for the 535. At the risk of sounding like a douchebag, it was just more refined, yet still had that delightfully untamed side.

I don't even see the point of having all the different brands when they are all pretty much identical mechanically. Maybe if they focused on producing a few good cars with fewer brands, they might be able to afford luxuries like: buttons that don't wear off, side panels of seat controls that don't break, badges that

I just don't get it!

DAMN! Did you see that spring fly out?! LOLOLOLOLOL!

yeah. that's the smoothest street i have ever seen. where I live, the smoothest street would be considered off-road compared to that.

That ad for the 260 kind of scared the crap out of me

I say it at the auto show recently. Felt like the most solid interior I saw all day. But, yes. It's boring.

Anyone in a 90's Toyota with gold badges

They make it look so easy!

CRACK! It's in good shape. Mileage is way too high. The auto trans is the nail in the coffin. Last E30 I owned was a 325es with 190k on the clock. Paid $1700 for it, which was probably a little too much. But it was awesome. Gotta love that old Bimmer smell!

Looks FANTASTIC! Lets hope the swanky looking interior has better quality materials than my old Hyundai Accent. Even tho it reputation precedes it, it will never gain global recognition without two more doors and a back seat

please do not attempt

Looks like a Bimmer ate a Hyundai

Next time I see a star rolling an E30, I'll let you know

I bet that I would poop my pants if I got to drive some of the cars I see everyday when they were brand new, but the fact of the matter is if your wife uses hand lotion or has long finger nails, your luxurious, sumptuous interior will look like a soggy saltine that was attacked by a tiger in a short period of time.

I am a photographer at a used car dealer. We take like 50-60 photos of every car. So I get a good chance to get up-close and personal with at least 150 cars a month. Most are of a high end variety. I suppose it is all subjective. Any car that is well taken care of will last forever. However, I get to see a cross

I think AUDIs 'look' fantastic. In my line of work I deal with several used AUDIs every week. They either look good and run like shit, run well and look like shit (do no fair well in the wear and tear department), or they are total shit-balls. For whatever reason, people buy the shit out of them. WHY?!
