Marketing research found the original tagline “Where’s Your God Now?” didn’t test well.

“The problem with the new Lion King is that the animals just aren’t expressive enough”

I never knew the phrase “This Holiday Season, You Will Believe” could sound so menacing, holy shit.

Has there been a TV writer who has failed upward as consistently as Scott Buck?

Jorge’s complete disinterest in all of Jane’s drama was a highlight. I feel like it’s been established that he has Alba’s best interests at heart, let him be the one person on the show who’s not in some ridiculous over-the-top storyline.

(eg. Ragnarok subverted dramatic moments so many times that by the time Banner hurled himself out of the plane I was actively annoyed by the punchline)

Ehh, I’m not too thrilled to learn this. Not to say that Thor: Ragnarok was bad, it was definitely an enjoyable movie, but it didn’t feel like a Thor movie to me and some of the humor didn’t work for me. So I would’ve preferred someone else helm Thor 4.

For someone who thinks that animation has suffered because of the need to tie stars (instead of talented voice actors) to roles for marketing...this blows. This is just more “look at the celebs we have voicing the characters!” instead of the focus on storytelling.

I have been loving this season so far. It’s so fun seeing this nega-Coulson rampaging around.

I hope this game finally confirms that Zelda is the boy.

shh. it doesn’t, but they’re going for a whole ‘Spielberg is evil’ thing these days and this is the wagon they’re hitching that argument to.

OK, I bite.

Bill’s daughter, Thea Preston and Ted’s daughter, Billie Logan

So it’s The Good Dinosaur but with fantasy creatures...because the reveal is absolutely going to be humans exist and are the fantasy creatures of this universe.

Disney/Pixar’s Bright

Your point of view is totally fair, as that was a pretty sudden change of pace. However with only 13 episodes per season, it seems as though things will move quicker, and that hasn’t been easy to get used to even as just fan who watches the show(I can only imagine the time it took them to decide on what kind of story

I’m on the side of “it wasn’t a completely unexpected and stupid heel turn, but goddamn it if it wasn’t done poorly and rushed in the show”.
