There were some terrific gags here, some of the best of the series so far, it’s just a shame that it’s tied to the awkward - and creepy - Elfo-Bean near-pairing.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it was perhaps the most imbalanced episode to date. I guess it’s not as big a consideration when you’re making a more serialised show for a platform famous for binge-watching, but the episode really failed on a structural level, when the last couple have been quite well put together. But,

I didn’t much care for Matt Berry, but then I rarely do. He’s always just Matt Berry, meant to be funny because he has a distinct voice with an off-kilter delivery. In that respect he’s like Ricky Gervais, except without a personality to go with the recognisable voice.

I think the animation style could really work for the period setting. And I like a few of the jokes - it’s just Elfo that falls massively flat. I’m getting some real Olaf-from-Frozen vibes from him.

I assume Nacho and Kim are going to ride off into the sunset together.

I love a nice, soft, juicy bit of bacon - but that’s because British bacon is from a different cut of the pig, and is superior in every single way.

Well done steak is very tasty. It’s perfect if you’re wanting something tasty and satisfying that isn’t going to take you half an hour to eat.

I started watching Angel when it was near the end of season 3, but quickly caught up on past episodes thanks to a friend’s video collection. One thing, though, baffled me for a long time: after the first almost two seasons of episodes, the gang are in an alternate dimension, and realise a hitherto helpful power may

Pretty sure Adeola got named a lot earlier in the season - when she was referenced in this episode I noted that I knew who they were referring to (which I don’t always, with the size of this cast and the occasional switch between using first names and surnames).

Some of the cast really need to work on their diction. For the shower scene with Alex and Madison I actually had to put on the subtitles to understand what they were saying (the flowing water didn’t help, but the dialogue still shouldn’t have been practically inaudible).

He’s also a bloody lovely person - I met him at a convention a couple of years ago and he was friendly, welcoming, and endearingly self-effacing.

Apologies, I misread the intent.

I, for one, think it’s unlikely I’d be tricked into shouting the n-word multiple times, baring my backside and running towards someone screaming to drop the gun or I’d turn them gay. If that’s something you’re worried about, perhaps you should be worried about other things instead.

To anyone saying that the solution is just to not watch it - you can’t be that stupid, surely? It’s not about disliking the show, it’s about the potentially dangerous effect the show could have on viewers, particularly young girls (though far from exclusively). It’s the same reason there are laws against, say, hate

Ain’t nobody gonna take mer guuuuurns!

A) They were staggeringly obviously jokes. Shitty, tasteless jokes, but jokes nonetheless. Unless you actually think those tweets are him endorsing/condoning rape and paedophilia? (Side note: Cernovich wasn’t digging these tweets up to make Gunn look tasteless or offensive, but in an attempt to prove a paedophile

I’m in the UK - I was at a hotel the other night and a fistfight broke out between two of the drunk patrons. Thank God, neither had easy access to a gun.

What struck me was... he didn’t actually apologise for them yesterday. All he said was that “in the past” he has apologised for them, which is very much not the same thing. Furthermore, at no point in his tweets yesterday (I can’t trace back to any previous apologies) did he actually say he was wrong to make those
