Think it depends on the mouse. If you buy a Razer Deathadder then its pretty safe to assume you're a gamer. If you buy a $5 Microsoft mouse then the chances are less

If he's scared of a monopoly, he's an idiot. The basic codes are free on the internet and will NEVER be monetized or something like that. There literally cannot be a monopoly unless AMD/Nvidia decide to only support certain engines, which they wont.

It handles them fine, it supports both hardcoded and .srt and you can select between the 2 as well. Its the codecs I have more problems with because Chromebooks (at least mine) arent that powerful so they have issues with 1080p sometimes.

I use Plex on my Chromebook to serve as a media center but it'd be handier if it was just put into the PS4
