Bostonian lady here. I get nothing but side-eye when I visit my company's HQ in Miami and walk around in my Chucks, and all the other women in are wearing like 5" platform heels. I choose instead to celebrate my adaptability to variations in ground-composition.

Every prejudice I have as a born-and-raised Bostonian about SoCal women (high heels on ice?!) gets a delicious dose of confirmation bias today. Bravo.
