They don't have to eat the loss they can just change the price from one shop to another to reflect the tax of whatever area they are in.

I know there would be issues, but none of them would be issues for the consumer, currently all of the issues exist only for the consumer, it seems that a lot of people are OK with it, but when put in a global context it's quite uncommon to allow anyone to display an incorrect price for any reason.
Sure there would be inconvenience for really large companies, but with all the tax brakes those sort of companies get they could probably take a small hit for the sake of the customers and the fact that when it comes to food chains they have franchises so the scale of the inconvenience should be smaller, large shop…
Yeah I get that the system has a lot of variety, but to me that is all the more reason for the price to include tax how is a customer supposed to keep track of everything.
Strange how you find people who would like to know how much something will cost them without doing math lazy, but a business unwilling to truthfully state the price of something ok.
All of what you mentioned just adds reasons why taxes should be included in the price tag why should a person have keep track of all that and not the business?
I know you are kinda joking, but I will point out that not all people in your admittedly fucked up prison system were convicted unjustly, no mater how much conservatives in America seem to think that America did not invent capitalism and is not the best example of an average capitalist state, and it was not always…
Ohh no I did not mean that I think you argued against it, what I meant was that changing what the price tags show will be easy because it's hard to argue against that practice.
First of it's probably not always 10% so calculating 7% or 13% accurately can be an issue for a lot of people.
Most countries have some form of sales tax or VAT, but not showing the real price of an item is quite rare I have never seen that outside the US, also it benefits everyone when you know how much an item actually costs and not having to always worry if you have enough money, because I doubt the % is always an easy to…
Making people display prices with taxes included should be easy enough, I really don't see how you can argue against letting people know how much they will actually have to pay.
What do you call it when you a purposefully given the wrong price of an item? Is there a better name for it?
How does what I posted have anything to do with support of unjust laws?
Or they could just do the logical thing and display the price that you have to pay on each product, it really takes almost no effort and greatly benefits every consumer.
They just unload the frustrations of working in IT onto the only people they can boss around, most people IT get zero respect at their workplace unless they work in a IT company, they are usually one step under the cleaning lady the only upside is they get payed a lot, so a lot of us turn into terrible assholes.
My biggest issue was the missing sales tax, not displaying the price with tax included is illegal in the EU, and it just seems so strange that such deception is allowed.
Sometimes a joke is more than just a joke, for me this is one of those times, it can differ from person, and it's not like I was rude or told him to shut up I just pointed to how inaccurate the premise of the joke is.
I get it it's satire, but it's still inaccurate and furthers ignorant world views, which I disapprove of in my comedy, so I just needed to point that out.
I did not turn it into support of unjust laws in non capitalist states, that happened in your own head, I just pointed out that the premise of capitalism being the reason for unjust laws is silly, even in America which has quite a unique set of issues that can not be blamed on capitalism in general.
You see, blaming capitalism for an unjust judicial system is silly no mater how common or funny it is, because unjust systems have existed outside of capitalism and just systems exist within capitalist states.
