I haven't even met you before, and already I love you.

PRAISE BE
At the very least it suggests a fair distance to catch up on.
It's a trial, for certain; especially when you look around and worry you'll be pegged for one of those assholes on the basis of fine print.
That's a big compliment, since self-awareness is something I've worked on for a long time. "Welp" may be the most succinct way to express the mix of feelings here, from head-to-desk resignation, to feeling kind of bad for this person saying so many things that don't even need to be rigidly self-conscious but could use…
I, as a fellow "millenial" (I prefer "social-media integrated ingrate from hell"), am trying to find a more articulate response to this than a plain, simple "WELP"
Thank you so much for your comments. Speaking as someone diagnosed with Asperger's, the therapy you talked about is incredibly important. Not only does it teach you incredibly important skills, but you learn that "understanding other people" overlaps a lot with "being happy" and "being understood". I had a long,…
Every time I saw them in a store or online when I was idly perusing possible uses of gift cash and thought, "No, that's still too expensive"...
I'm sorry. I feel your pain about the governorship— especially when he spent the remainder of his term stumping ahead of the nomination race for 2008. It was bad enough having a state GOP content to be the permanent minority that constantly threw a shit-smeared monkey wrench in as many plans as they could and…
It's always funny to see a person deriding other people for their passions, especially on a site for such an oft-derided subject as science fiction.

I have a black pug puppy named Benji, short for Benjamin. He would not be a good screen Benji because he would A) be too busy frolicking on the set and B) love all of the people he met too much, training or not training.
I know; I don't especially care, because sometimes the fans actually do nice work!
The studios get to recut films all the time, so it's only fair that fans might get to, since they can do a pretty good job sometimes (Remember what Topher Grace did with the prequels and expanded universe material to make his own cut? That was supposed to be pretty good given the constraints.) With enough material or…
In Green Hornet's case, scheduling it for January signified that it would be a terrific movie to make fun of with good friends— which I did, the night before a huge snowstorm when the theater was empty, and we had a blast.
It also means that someone (multiple someones?) will have fun playing with all of the recorded material and creating their own cuts out of it, or even their own movies.
From a Groucho to a Grinch: you nailed that observation in a pinch
One of the liveliest, most fun/funnest (take your pick, prescriptivists and descriptivists) debates among the Lego building community is de-yellowing your white and old-grey bricks, especially when they have printed designs on them that have no counterpart in modern pieces.
IIRC they treat the statues at Lego parks with a special covering to protect them from UV, but eventually they get replaced if they're out for long.
Seventh Heaven! I have not-actually-fond-but-fond-nonetheless-due-to-blinding-nostalgia memories of how often that show was on the WB. When I was waiting for the cartoon block in the afternoon to start; randomly when the cartoon block was supposed to be airing; advertised incongruously in the middle of these afternoon…
