Good one!

I see the style Pixar art guys love, too...

I like the look of Reed and Spidey's costumes, but I already liked the aesthetic, and anyways I enjoy tweaks on and stylistic reenvisionings of familiar concepts like superhero costumes/emblems, or that Darth Vader thing recently.

Nah, there's always the yearly events, as well as the smaller interseries events that are supposed to be important somehow. What ever happened to that The Hood guy, anyways? Is that still a thing?

Actually kind of digging the new costumes. Nice aesthetic. Though Ben Grimm in gigantic white shorts is a curious idea.

For anyone interested in real weapons that weren't, check out Zack Parsons' book My Tank is Fight!, a humorous look at the various big-dreaming superweapon plans of World War II. Not surprisingly, most of the designs and accompanying histories it goes over are German, being that Adolf Hitler loved superweapons the

He did a vampire book, so why not a werewolf book? Perfect!

Just one of those titles? I don't know if SyFy has that much restraint.

About time SMBC got some attention here; its science and geek jokes are leagues funnier than any of Randall "megan why did you leave me" Munroe has done with xkcd.

Well, the book I linked doesn't contain any of the Worldwar novels, but it's still very good, and I'd encourage you to get into the Worldwar series anyways.

There's a fine line between striking cover art, and covers that make you want to strike the artist. For an example of a good Turtledove cover, check out this: [www.amazon.com]

Not that they're "not nearly as bad as the Nazis", that that fact makes them cool. Did he say that this makes them cool in his comment, or did he not? It's possible to say that fictional antagonists did good things without believing that this means the specific antagonists, rather than the group they come from as a

Should have scrolled down before I commented— Absolutely agree with this.

Did he say that in his comment, though?

That is a horrible cover for Harry Turtledove's book that gives no indication of how good it and the preceding series are.

While you might not like Butcher, Harry Connolly's Twenty Palaces series is very good, and while the ends are certainly neatly packaged, they're not positive, and they only hint at worse to come. Gripping reading; I finished the two books published so far in a single day each.

@Laertus: I cared about Kevin Spacey!

@hazelnut1112: Maybe Brandon Routh was too busy appearing in TV shows wherein his role in Superman Returns could be slyly hinted at?
