Maybe Lando doesn’t lose it there. It’s a longshot, but could be a misdirect where he loses it later.

General Zod can be both a villain to some and a hero to others. The two are not mutually exclusive. As one man’s freedom fighter is another’s terrorist, so too, one man’s war hero, is another man’s war criminal. In many cases, it all depends on the victor and who’s writing the history.
You are assuming they are telling him everything and not outright lying to him.
I’m willing to try it. Forcing the character right into the uncanny valley, is an interesting narrative choice. It makes the struggle the other character face trying to see her as human more believable.
What fucked up world do we live in where we can’t just say that the biker was also being a fucking idiot by doing what he did? NO THAT DOES NOT MEAN THE DRIVER OF THE CAR IS EXCUSED FOR HIS ACTIONS.
this is the dumbest fucking thread
This person doesn’t realize that you can look up and literally see satellites with your naked eye at the right time of night? Fuck people like that.
Seconded. Avatar was an incredibly beautiful film. Trademark wooden Cameron dialogue, but damn beautiful.
Extremely. The first one was one of the best experiences I ever (repeatedly) had in an IMAX theater.
And say what you will about James Cameron’s scripts - the dude makes entertaining films. Hell, I was excited when Titanic came back to theaters in 2012. I am 100% on board for this.
The theme park? Maybe, at some point.…
two timelines (frames, really)
If she plays it like she did the vampire in Blade Trinity (where she and Ryan Reynolds were clearly in a different movie than everyone else), then this will be nothing but fun.
The years have only strengthened my conviction that this is one of the best film scores ever. Probably even better than all Williams’ other scores.
When the main theme hits its stride, you feel like everything is gonna be OK, and better than OK. Which is exactly the effect Superman himself should have on you.
I wrote about this in the previous post and I’ll repeat it here: the soundtrack of the original Superman film is not just the best superhero soundtrack, it might be one of the best movie soundtracks ever.
The black squirrel stole the show.
Its a quote from Scotty in Star Trek.
In an world so full of strife and bitterly contested opinions about Superheroes and their movies, can we all agree at least on one thing: the John Williams Superman theme is the best superhero music theme, like, ever?
I thought Smallville was consistently better than average...
“the future of SpaceX remains clouded in uncertainty”
Inconsistent and unreliable... Are we following the same Space-X?
I want to live old enough to see first contact with an alien race or see humans land on a habitable planet that is not Earth. Not too much to ask, imo. ;)
