Didn’t help that it made the movie look TV-ish, because we’re used to 24fps in cinema. But let’s be honest, a lot more than framerate made the Hobbit look bad.

He’s talking about the engine capacity. At some point, you’re gonna destroy an engine if you put too much power. For stuff like piston/block resistance, 855 is the key number.

This is based on the books. So it’s a prequel to the games. A younger, less scarred Geralt makes sense.

Nobody is saying he exclusively carries it by hand.

That is because you’re a bad person.

As someone who has worked in the organization of events like these, ask away. As long as you’re not repeatedly asking essentially the same question hoping for a different answer, the organizer is much more likely to be relieved than annoyed, because you’re really saving them problems down the line.

You need Peter as spiderman, and the skrull as Peter.

Nah, the minute I saw it written in Comic Sans, I was 100% sure it was going to be a PowerPoint-ish presentation at Peter's school.

Especially since they clearly had a couple scenes that were obvious setups for it. For example, the forensics lab. The Biohazardous sludge was just SCREAMING “betcha you miss your spleen now!”

You really think businesses just love throwing money to the thrash in vanity products for the actual production staff?

Show, don’t tell.

Thanks for the unprovoked attack.

That’s for sure. My point isn’t about how insane you can get the computer, but how fairly or unfairly priced the computer is.

And I said it was a screwup.

I agree. That’s why I said you can’t get anything like this from dell “for considerably less”.

Yeah, I agree. I buy similar stuff (well, mostly from HP) for materials and engineering calculations. You could probably get the same for a bit cheaper, but this is reasonably within the market.

because that only works if you put the extra width towards the front, and that is a usability nightmare.

That is only clear in your mind. The article and comments are clearly about this specific computer.

I did. You can’t, really, because Dell uses different processors and video cards, but the best I could do is around $5360, substituting an equivalently-priced Xeon Gold 5115 for the Xeon W.

Actually, that makes it a lot more relevant. Business tend to be a lot more cold-minded when it comes to pricing. It’s just that they’re used to pay more for more.
