Really? He’s haunted by the dead without much control over it (to the point that he geta random people speaking other languages and screaming at him), his dad stuck him for hours inside a mausoleum in the dark when he was a child, and his dead brother is there sticking with him 24/7, and there’s any wonder he’s fucked

Jesus fuck.

And what was Palin before being a councilwoman, you disingenuous ass?

“I’m not psychologist”... Clearly.

“Nobody is coming for your penis”.

Oh, not knocking the validity of differentiating between bestseller and best - I actually agree they’re quite different. My point is the academy clearly has for quite a long time been diverging from the general consensus, and has some clear biases, and this category only sheds more light on that rather than remedy it.

The problem is that the very idea of a “popular” category clearly points out the issue with the academy: Their definition of “good” keeps diverging from that of the general population, and it’s clear it’s not necessarily for the best.

The totality of the hype for his next work? Of course.
