i like it. The proportions are nice for such a compact car...the corporate jag face works well on a smaller and tighter form. Should look great in person...the interior is a bit conservative though.

Having driven many conti gt's over the last few years, they really are not that great- they are pretty quick but for around 55k you could pick up a nice low mileage cl63 which is such a better car.

Bullshit. My best friend has a p1 on order and hasnt heard anything. I was hanging out with the principal sales guy from sf mclaren recently and mclaren hasnt told them anything. Either way who cares...the driver makes all the difference anyways so published ring times are typical marketing bs.

any chance of some vip parking ? I may be able to swindle my buddy (who actually has an order for the car pictured above ;-) into bbringing his mp4-12c ,countach or 430 scuderia. Either way ill prob come through

Can I ask why you the p1 didnt do it for you? My best friend has a 12c and just put down a deposit (and got confirmed) on a p1...hes not a huge fan of the porsche, and the la ferrari prob wouldnt happen(the last f-car he bought was a scud so not a "qualified owner" lol...plus he despises the way they have treated him).

Nope.the last few slots were taken during the Monterey weekend. There was no "list" but mclaren does have a vetting process(mostly to get rid of people who will flip the car for profit)

My best friend has an order for one(currently has a 12c). There were 110 allocated to the us. From what I hear the last couple slots were taken during the Monterey car show weekend. The bay area slots went really fast. I cant wait to drive this thing.
