Its much nicer than a knock around timex and costs not much more. I like the Vostok. Solid. Adaptable. (Set the bezel dot to 12 gmt) and if i suddenly have to go diving after ninjas post water landing, that box is checked.
Rated for 225 mph. And can take the force of 130,000+ pounds of 737 impacting the concrete runway at a few hundred feet per second descent and regularly at 160+ knots (180mph) if need be. That is, for as many smoky instances of 0 to 1200 rpm that it can take until the rubber cap wears to the threads. Ive seen 160psi…
Oh, I want to do LeMons so badly someday. I had no idea I was such a masochist.
The 90's brought lot’s of great things, but for a deep modular build game system, it brought this game off the table to the computer. It’s been gone for fifteen years now, but last month this came out. It’s good.
With all the work to do vs. Value when done...i wont be right in the head. Like anyone always does, itll be more in than out if i were to sell. OR, I could buy a more solid example, then use what i have as a base for this picture and make a whippled 3.5 rover v8 monster like that....tubbed, and go on drag week.
Classic LeMans meet. Bringing all that V8 ear killing joy. Im not sure they had yet invented mufflers... :)
we see it all the time. A kid starts little league/other sports/karting at 5 or 6. When i see a kid start karting at 3 and f4 at 11, i wonder when that too early actually is.
This is in my local paper, for a 4x4, CREW cab, and the 3 liter DIESEL. All up under 33k. My tight opinions say this price is what any truck should cost anyway but overall in the grand scheme, its a steal now.
NP? CP? 1994 BMW drift car project. Like the year old presidential election, my yesses and nos have never been so far apart. Perhaps not so much daily driver, but track rat fo sho. Now, what does daily driver mean to you?
Like get up, and find a jail so I can break out of it. Always a fan of slammin’ drums and deep grooves.
I believe a franken LSx of a special sort would be the best idea ive had on 5 hours sleep. When i saw this on my way to a diner omelette by my hotel, i felt that respect heartbeat. Such solid cars. And a need to Eff it up into a track day bastard special.
DJ Shadow. Always tasty.
UK cars plus US engines. A mainstay of excellence in race car design since really the 1950's.
A nice watch is a nice watch. I wear for functionality and taste. I don’t wear for name brand satisfaction (cough * Rolex) as honestly, the name is 80% of that $9,000 diver. But when I see something really nice and well done (Like this Vostok Special Edition above) I stumble when I see the color. I’m just not the guy…
Eagle Talon Tsi. AWD. The post gets right down to business without discussing condition or interior, etc. At first, I thought tasteful mods like an intake and cat-back exhaust, but no! A long laundry list of, I think, thought out parts. If I ran a youtube channel I would get it and see what sort of power a very tired…
A Toyota 4AGE in a starlet. 260hp, all n/a. Your Friday break.
I’ve got plenty of books on the shelf on tuning and boosting and charging and building powerful engines but none of the engines built that way would last the 25 hours of Thunderhill, or 24 at Daytona or LeMans or complete a 5 mile run at 80psi at Bonneville without melting a piston, blowing gaskets, spinning bearings,…
Went on smooth enough and im lucky the center caps are still in good shape because these are looking very nice. Ill have to give a full detail to the RAV. If i dont itll look worse now.
Wooh! Kinja is workin’ wonders! So i thought I’d bring yall along on an oddly productive moment for me. The wifes RAV4 wheels need serious help. So i’m paintin’ today!
I have had Peroni when it was fresh and untouched by light and therefore actually nice. But why the hell do green beer bottles still exist? Its known by otherworldly aliens and unborn babies still in the womb that green bottles are such a stupid idea. This one tonight was a skunk and on the lable it still had until…
