The 60 dollar argument seems like BS because publishers like to use that excuse and when they are told just do it they are too scared. I would gladly pay 80 dollars for a complete gaming experience with no microtransaction, road map, live service, or buggy incompletely fix in post game design.

Yeah but thats long term investment not starter investment. So you could be months down the road saving money.

You’re right. Melee is way overpriced right now. But about 50 to 80 dollars for a GameCube is right depending on if it has games. I wouldn’t even argue for getting into Brawl. Its kind of the red headed step child of the series.

Melee gets Rollback netcode.

The bar for entry into melee is so low. Anybody can get in. You just need a TV, Gamecube, and Smash. About a 100 dollar investment. The meta is also already completely laid out. Smash itself has the lowest bar for entry into the fighting game scene.

I bought this game and was ready to have fun. Than I logged into see the short cut and that kind of killed the fun for me.
