Exactly, credit to them for trying to tackle the issue head on (their words not mine) and you got to respect them for it, still doesn't make it any less of a terrible decision. They would never had kept him a secret but the idea of putting him so firmly in the limelight just seems like a really, really odd decision.

Is that code for "Shit, no one trusts Dyack and our attempts to placate the masses were unsuccessful, let's go back to the drawing board, announces some big changes and hope people magically forget when we relaunch."

Oh my!

Well I'll be...

It was the Thomas the Tank Engine one that really got me, it's like a "My First Escher" drawing, I love it!

Haha!

My first experience with Ganguro gals actually came over a decade ago from an old flash game aptly titled "Ganguro Girl". It was a dating sim with the usual character progression stuff such as "Read a book gain +1 Intelligence!" Please remember I was young testosterone ridden teen still in high school. I was not a

Take away their food stamps too!

Great now all he has to do is eat crisp (chips) epically, find a psychotic kindred soul who can help him attain the Hackigami eyes and phase two will be complete.

Great article Evan! Spot-on with the issue of prequels and their struggle to maintain the balance. In the latest franchise I've never seen Bats as a character with any real humour to him, sure he'll throw a sarcastic one-liner here or a grimaced look their but he's an extremely serious character in regards to

Thank you for the kind words, much like the U.S. after Boston this kind of event will galvanise the public, London is the city that won't stop moving no matter what heinous acts may occur in it.

Don't worry about ol' chap, as a Brit/Londoner we're more concerned with the fact that these guys were known to our security forces and that this is something that was a long time coming according to MI5, in other words, have they just opened a floodgate for copycat attacks. That's not paranoia by the way just one

Serious look? They're the eyes that only a cold, dead, fish would have.

Whoops, sorry for that! I hadn't been too familiar with her or her work before this aside from briefly looking at Thermae Romae and deciding it wasn't for me.

That's actually his drawing style also seen in Thermae Romae. Isn't manga just the Japanese word for something that is drawn, usually has a story and traditionally presented in books? I don't understand why you say it's not a manga character when the word has nothing to do with how a character looks.

I followed up to this posting, I never said they planned to make the launch terrible just that they did (and this is just my opinion, we're allowed to have those still aren't we?) under stock servers knowing it would save money but didn't expect the issue to be as big as it was.

Ah yeah, I apologise for using that phrasing. Any evidence I have would be entirely circumstantial and would not exactly be disputed by EA, so thank you for calling me out on that. It would just come from my previous experience in I.T. and networking and reading the costs involved that other gaming companies face. In

I agree, no company sets out for such a PR disaster it creates far too many problems but I don't think they knew how big a problem this was going to be. That's the unknown quantity, the fact it went so viral and was picked up by the mainstream media was entirely out of EA's calculations.

You're seemingly siding with a company that purposely understocked servers and persistently lied about initial demand (Oh our gamers are having TOO MUCH fun) purely to save their bottom line. As much as you and I hate the entitlement of gamers these days this is very much a real issue in the community, Your snarky

You say video game addiction is real (and I agree) but straight after say responsible adults should always take responsibility and essentially put the game down. So either video game addiction is a very real psychological condition or you're not fully understanding what defines actual addiction.
