Welcome Nirvanes,

Choose life. Ya wee *#@! :)

Glad to hear Ubi is listening to feedback on FC3 and I'll be even happier if they patch out the agonisingly slow, rinse and repeat looting animation.

Yeah I also agree with you on that, I'd say that at the same time there are plenty of parents responsible enough to practice better gun safety with kids in the home but she seems to have had issues of her own and until or even if the police decide to tell us how they found the gun storage area we can't know for sure

I'm not sure why you're linking the two.

Ah I didn't actually know that, here in Europe those laws are enforceable and every game has to pass through a regulatory body where they are graded a certain age restriction level and if a retailer is found to sell games to someone under-age they are punished with a hefty fine.

Up until 2:44 is what we should really take note of.

Ti be fair they couldn't have been more obvious with the OTT announcer, it sets the tone for the game in general. OTT fun that won't take itself too seriously.

Or maybe that those articles had genuine merit (even if they were divisive and our opinion of what's "interesting" will vary) actually aren't made solely to drive page views and those that constantly pointed it out were actually wrong?

It's not surprising to see a minority use personal attacks towards the writer but it is shameful. If you can't articulate your point without resorting to petty remarks and attacks on character then you really need to talk a step-back and ask why does it rile you up so much?

Film is 24fps because that is the "cinematic" frame rate. Why is that important? Because we are seeing real human beings performing feats of unbelievability (I know this isn't a word but you know what I mean).

It's a best of a bad bunch kind of deal but the game BAFTAs were pretty good last year (though it's hit and miss from year to year). This was their 2012:

You're right but to be honest they do look a little bit blocky...

Aiden? Ohhhhh. My ears were playing up yesterday and I thought I had heard the name Ivan. My hopes for a Russian ass-kicking ghost have been depleted and it is entirely my own fault. :(

Usually it's because when the guys making the trailer get the brief they will have a clear goal i.e Show games core mechanics, high impact action packed, story driven, character introduction etc.

I know what you meant :P the word isn't banned it has been removed from a series of books by ONE government funded company that sells books to children. everywhere else it will stay the same including books attained from other companies that may end up in a kids hand. Sorry for the confusion with how I put it before

I think you raise a good point in regards to trailer producing, in part the reason this one is more focused on one aspect VS another is that as we've progressed with the internet and dissemination of information it's far easier to produce trailers that focus on a singular aspect of a game knowing that other trailers

It's not banned as much as it has been re-introduced to kids as "grumpy pirate" in books funded government through one company and read to kids.

Well the song it comes from has many variations and this one ranks highly, though you may want to refrain from singing it at kids parties.

Agreed, I swear I could hear the Wilhelm scream in her voice at least twice.
