You think that could ever work out, financially? I don't know how much of a budget is required to make a great cutscene—a ton, I'm sure—but I'd love to see someone give it a shot.

This doesn't make me want to play a new Batman game. I makes me want to live in an alternate reality where there are tons of great, full-CG animated cape comic movies.
My god, those voices.
Has there ever been a more casual disarming of a meat clever-wielding lunatic?
The fighting mechanics in that game were pretty amazing.
You have to dismiss the lol as some sort of internal, mental chuckle coughed up onto the keyboard (generally by the semi-literate). Otherwise, judging from internet comments, the world is surprisingly full of cackling maniacs.
The way the evac ship just sits there, totally helpless, as it gets hammered by ground fire, is pretty sad.
But since it doesn't cost you anything to call and get into a Titan, I think the idea is that it's just a very temporary power-up. Like a way more vulnerable version of a Pac-Man power pellet. Get in, shoot a Titan or two in the back, wildly hurl fire and hope to kill some enemy AI, and then eject/self-destruct.
I hadn't noticed the lack of recoil, but yeah, you're totally right. Super deal-breaker.
You might be right, if the mechs were more mechy. From watching the videos, I don't get the sense that they feel or play like anything other than a giant bro, complete with stupid melee attacks. No alternate control system, no tranforming into vehicles or other modes. And their wacky superpowers are just superpowers.…
Would Dong Nuyen would be a good name for a Shadowrun character, or the best name?
Sold.
A V (original miniseries) game would be excellent!
It looks precisely as great as a Disney channel show.
Indeed, I should have said "optic nerve."
Wow, he really was on Smallville. Though in name only.
I think we were doing the same thing, roughly speaking (though I added an "s" sound at the end, for absolutely no reason).
That seems to be right, or much closer to right than my assumption.
I loved it more than words can describe. I assumed that your The Raid reference put you in that strange camp of conspiracy theorists, who dismiss Dredd because of vague similarities (and ignore the almost simultaneous production schedules).
And just like that, we're enemies.
