Calling something full self driving that is not capable of reacting to a literal tractor trailer across the road is insane. It is equally insane to expect that a human should be at the ready in a split second when FSD fails to do it’s advertised job.

Yes. This is exactly what I do while 1 foot driving my Tesla. Always foot over brake and use only if necessary. The car already slows very fast with just regen, so it’s only for emergency.
