I’m guessing it’s your standard “at your own risk” scenario. As long as a rock wasn’t actively hurtling towards you it’s probably pretty safe for foot and bike traffic.

Getting to watch the takeoff/landing is also a bonus, especially if you’re sitting somewhere you can see the workings of the wing.
