Seems like there was a different shade of color shifting paint available on the Contour for a moment. Or maybe I was hallucinating in the 90's.

It does look more “pronounced” I guess I would say, than my memory serves. But that could simply be the difference between a dark studio with very intentional lighting, versus just seeing these things out and about in the sunlight.

If I were an owner with a hypothetically unaffected engine (post-process change) I don’t think I would want an engine swap. Sure, if it blows, give me the engine swap and a loaner. But if all is fine, an engine swap seems a bit risky to mess something else up.

I mean, as soon as the roll is imminent the roll has “started” in my opinion. That car in your photo is “rolling” even though it hasn’t quite rolled yet.

I noticed there’s also a red Viper in the garage, maybe he’ll negotiate. I couldn’t tell if it had the same wing on it.

Other than the spoiler this thing checks all the right boxes, assuming you like the yellow. I don’t hate the yellow.

I clicked through to the ad and noticed there is also a 1st gen red Viper in the garage.

As far as the roof, who cares? This thing is not my DD. It’s only coming out topless on nice days.
