this movie helped me - who was in her late 20s at the time - understand my grief and mental illness in a breakthrough light. my therapist told me for years that every emotion is trying to protect you by solving a problem it’s own specific way, and sometimes those specific ways are louder or more powerful. I cried so

likening to you the COVID crisis and certain governors/mayors desperately trying to maintain “normalcy” while people die would’ve been way more clever, but Rich doesn’t exactly go for the clever things.

truly shitty headline, yo.

it was an idea a couple of years back, but they had an episode where they talked about giving up on the book because it’s a) garbage and b) severely problematic.

don’t engage with the person who’s trying to start a whole separate conversation re: true crime/non-fiction. a few minutes of googling could inform them of the nuances.

I guess our memories are supposed to be really short or something? also did it not register that they gave up that book club bc the book is triggering as hell?

way to steal an idea from My Favorite Murder.

okay, good burn BUT I want to belief ol’ gal is that stupid so get outta here with your facts!

open-toe sandals!! while attempting to convince people she’s working in a construction zone!!!!

and she’s so self-centered that she didn’t notice somebody filming her and worry about the optics of her a) faking it b) taking off her mask immediately after c) saying GOOD JOB! BLM! after faking it and d) jumping into a fucking Mercedes SUV while she says it. fucking idiot

all-time favorite random line ever.

hahahahahahaha girl bye.

oh that’s so heartbreaking. his story is so tragic 💛

Christian Slater, not Christian Bale.

either this person is a sad Pick Me-ass lady, or a sad, I Hate Women Bc They Won’t Fuck Me dude. either way, don’t waste your time.

I can’t dignify this person with a reply but this is aimed at them:

I loved it. I know I’ll turn to it again sometime soon bc MAN it’s a nicer world than the one we’re in rn.

I needed it! I cried happy tears, I laughed and god damnit I enjoyed it. I refuse to be ashamed!
