I’m aware of grace periods. I’ve used them myself. this sounds like it was outside of that several times. it’s gross and awful and I wish landlords and all of these laws didn’t exist. but it sounds like she took advantage of a landlord one too many times. 

I really want to stress that I *hate* the concept of landlords (god even the title is evil) and do not jeer at anybody who has faced eviction. My family has been there, friends have been there, I myself had a landlord dissolve a lease due to late payments. I’m just *baffled* that this lady thinks it’s bc of her paint…

late rent payments are considered a breach of the lease contract. landlord can dissolve the lease/have evidence enough to secure an eviction. who does this moron think she is? like, it sucks and landlords should be abolished and I hate that anyone can be evicted but...no girl, you’re not being unfairly evicted because…

it was stunningly bad. deep character betrayal bad.

like, I get the Hollywood politics reasoning why GoT won but it was SO BAD narrative-wise and even half of the acting was atrocious. and I say that as a die-hard, from-day-1 fan.

Moira Rose is a once-in-a-lifetime character. She is nuanced and original, and O’Hara wields her ridiculousness with a sensitivity that just leaves me floored. In a world of comedic leads that lean heavily into their usually negative eccentricities, Moira is so refreshing.

uhm YES. these child actors (and their adult counterparts) had the weight of one of the heaviest, cruelest corruptions of justice on their shoulders. they were incredible.

I’m sure it’s great, but it wouldn’t sway my opinion on O’Hara’s singular performance.

Game of Thrones won Outstanding Drama, Schitt’s Creek didn’t win Outstanding Comedy and Catherine O’Hara didn’t win Best Actress.

the 2019 Emmys are now the Emmy equivalent of GoT season 8. some high points but mostly a ton of WTF? 

exactly. everybody gets justice on SVU, some way or another. real life sucks.
