I served at a family restaurant and I never expected a larger-than usual 15-20% tip from a family with small children. (When I got one, it was greatly appreciated, though!) What did make me not hate certain families, though, was when the parent(s) were clearly trying their best, helping me clean up messes, being

The idea that people with enough to eat begrudge those that don't on the belief that some of those "poors" are "gaming the system" so much that they'd like to see millions starving on the streets is hard to understand.

So sexism. Much misogyny. Wow.

Nursing homes. Fuck them, and especially their administration. I spent several years as an EMT and we did a lot of nursing home calls, either nursing home to hospital or hospital returning to nursing home. I've seen them all, from the "nice" ones I'd probably be ok having a family member in, to the ones that were

"Let me tell you something, funny boy... You know that little stamp? The one that says New York Public Library? Well, that may not mean anything to you, but that means a lot to me. I even feel this way about really bad drugs like heroin, we have enough information on things that are bad for us that we should be able to make that decision for ourselves. Survival of the fittest in a way.

UGH can they please make an Android version already? Feels like I've been waiting for this forever.

Cool. I often use the hashtag on twitter. They need to come out with an android app immediately.

I wish I could stamp #NotBuyingIt on my fathers forehead. Just sat through two holidays and a birthday of him talking about how much power women hold over men, and how there is no such thing as racism because Obama. UGHHhhhh.
