generation and conversion are different things though, I didn't look at it long enough to realize that it was solar powered, but the terminology is still incorrect.

I didn't say the FF movie got up, unreeled itself from the projector, walked outside and crashed someones 91 civic dx into oncoming traffic, but there certainly were trickle down effects in many areas.
I was agreeing with you, but I really don't watch any movies (1ish per year on average) because, for me, if I am going to invest the 2 hours I expect it to be a masterpiece.
I agree, but it is not really "generating" the energy, it is converting it. Therefore it is still all consumed energy from a physics standpoint.
If it was their intention to make us laugh at them, then I would give them more respect.
Geez - again, I asked WHO else felt the same way - you were the one who felt the need to tell me what I need to think about Hollywood in general.
If this generates more power than it consumes would it not be a perpetual motion device?
dumb comment is dumb.
THE WELDSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
Its just that it spread so much misinformation, caused so many idiots to drive like assholes and the sweatshops in China making AutoZone fart cans must have seen demand rise 1000%.
Semi unrelated:
I see what you're saying, but I doubt Lamborghini would name their field "LAMBO" anyway as it is slang.
There is not a benefit persay, it all comes down to the tune. If the car is venting to the atmosphere on a stock tune where the car is setup to recirculate then it will cause a rich condition because the the ECU is not seeing as much air as it is expecting since the vented air is "escaping" the system.
lol - Well my car has a 2.0L ecotec DI motor which was developed by saab and GM. Actually all the ecotec motors have a saab connection as far as I know.
It isn't a conscious thing - it is somewhat hard to describe. I am not picturing it per-say but it is there.
oh yes. This is the problem - It is always tempting to write a 9 page explanation (or talk for 30 minutes if in real life) but then they just get lost.
This is a good one explaining the blow off valve. In a different language, but when the air turns "red" it is showing that the throttle plate has closed causing air to back up in the intake tract, opening the "green" blow off valve and relieving pressure on the turbocharger
I wasn't really trying to explain, I could do a much better job of that - it would just take a lot more room!
I consider myself to be very mechanically inclined - and I think this is why I like cars so much. A car is a large system - like other large, mechanical systems it requires many components to work in harmony with one another.
You posses an incredible wealth of GM knowledge, sir!!
