Good luck making that thing, it’s more of an un-attainable novelty than a functional station; when they say 1/15's of the ingame economy, that’s not a matter of someone going, buying god-knows-how-much PLEX and selling it, it’s a matter of people mining, salvaging, or otherwise obtaining mineral resources currently

Wanted to say this

“Central, in pursuit of a suspect, looks to be a red Nissan. We’re closing- Ah, Central, suspect turned west on Fleetwood, we’re gonna need backup”

“3-17, repeat, you need backup?”

“Ah, Central, we’re in a Challenger... Still barreling down Main, couldn’t make the turn”

“... Backup enroute”

I’m supposed to go to Georgia a few times this summer, but every rental I’ve checked (via Costco because hell yeah membership) is automatic, including the “sports cars”. And now this is automatic as well...

At this point I may just buy a 3rd MR2 to keep down there for the season!

You sure? Last I checked Ford wasn’t much good at rotaries or actual sports cars (other than the Ford GT, and perhaps the new Stang)...

Pretty much. If you’re on an empty highway in the middle of nowhere at 3AM, where you can see people’s lights for miles in either direction, go ahead. Only people you’ll hurt are yourself, and maybe the other dude if you fuck up. Same thing goes for drifting in industrial areas, late at night nobody’s around, go have

Um... U wot m8?

If you ever get the chance, try driving a mid-engined or rear-engined car in the snow! Similar idea, but you get a higher proportion of weight on the driven wheels. Just be careful when you (inevitably) let the tail start to hang out a bit ;)

^Pretty much that, only time I’ve called CAA was when my MR2 developed a wiring issue and died on the road, when I bought that MR2 to get it towed home (non-runner), and a few times for a jump start on my parents cars.

All that weight and contact patch is useless if you have a low coefficient of friction between the road and the tracks/tires/contact area, though. Not 100% sure what material is used for tank tracks, but your average tire in the dry will have a frictional coefficient of ~1, most other common material combinations are

I can think of a few. Naturally aspirated MR2's, Triumph Spitfires, MGB’s, off the top of my head...

Nah, but it’s a bit hard to tell over the web.

What I’ve learned from EVE (other than exploiting loopholes in rules and legislation like a third-world nation) is that a “/s” after a statement via text helps convey the sarcastic overtone. After all, on the internet, you never know, there’s always an added level of

You keep the “freedumb”, we’ll keep the attractive women, poutine, and maple syrup :)

LT = Light Truck. I guess I mis-articulated it, but basically LT + M&S. Just LT wouldn’t be applicable from what I remember of it.

Nah, it’s pure Winter tires. There was an exemption for M&S tires on light trucks, until 2012, but even then it was very vague (my dad got an $350 ticket for running a set of Michelin LTX M&S on our old Explorer even though they were covered under exemption due to the lack of a snowflake icon).

In any case, the winter

As a Quebeccer who’s driven in Ontario (London) during heavy snow... It’s quite amusing to see the looks on people’s faces when their Ram can’t get up an incline, but the little MR2 on winter tires with a QC plate just zips around and cruises on by...

Wait, before you tell me, let me prepare my derisive chuckle I can use that makes me feel better about daily driving a Toyota.

You should probably go sit down in your Honda before you start eating your own face...

There is no ground breaking AAA PC games anymore. Games that push the boundaries of what is possible, without restrain and without the need to dumb down everything.

“Vastly better in every way”

As the owner of a MK1.5, I beg to differ. The Mk1 is a go-kart, the Mk2 is more of a GT car. That being said, a 1.5 gives the best of both worlds if you want flat-out performance.

They added the rear sway for 89 SC’s... And it’s something you definitely notice!
