Knights in the Nightmare for PSP? I wasn't a big fan of the stylus control on the DS, this could be cool.

I've heard that the boss battles in MGS:Peace Walker are absolutely punishing to tackle alone. Anybody with the game come up against this yet? I am only past the 2nd story mission so far, haven't had much time to play.

@kneeofwisdom: Haha, I'm not actually any good with him. You gotta use the EX oil up, to oil yourself as fast as you can. When, he's oiled his throw range is insane!

Theres a reason why American companies like Microsoft and Apple don't make their products in the US, and why they ship their manufacturing to China. It should not be surprising…

two of the three must buy games you listed are multiplatform games, and another one is a game that probably is a lot better in your memory than it is in real life. GTA IV is not a reason to buy an xbox360 specifically. Mass Effect 2 is.

@Pheermee: The blog format is absolutely critical. It is easy just to scan the front page and see if there is anything interesting on.

@breathe_unison: MGS4 was my favorite in the series thus far. Amazing game. I kind of hit a lull in my play of it too, but when I came back to it I was utterly confused as to why I ever put it down. Game is incredible.

@breathe_unison: I preordered the big boss pack specifically for this game. It turns out there is quite of bit of software that I'm interested in on the PSP. The bundle pushed me over the edge.

@Eternal: MGS4 and Demon's Souls both had that effect on me. Games were excellent.

DS is a great platform if you love castlevania games. Or, if you were a fan of Shadow Complex and you want to see what a real metroidvania game should be like.

@metallicorphan: I was not a fan of the FF 4 remake. FF 4 i one of my favorite games in the series, and I think their remake made it quite a bit uglier than the original sprites.
