Story about a Chris Brown fan. When my wife was pregnant a couple years back i’d go with her to appointments. Before the appointment they’d take her to a seperate room and ask her a bunch of questions to make sure she wasn’t under duress or a victim of domestic abuse. The first time we show the the PA doing the

He is tremendous. One of my few and minor nitpicks with The Good Place is that they went really fast past the possibility that Tahani might have a thing for Chidi, as well as “real Eleanor” (Tiya Sircar). He was very interesting with both of them too.

You mean Chidi AnnaKendrick?

Oh have I known “Latinas” like Stephanie Hamill. They’re white until someone calls them on their racist shit, then suddenly they’re “Latina” or “Hispanic” (betraying that they have no idea how to talk about race or inclusivity).

Stephanie Hamill is latina? This brings up so many questions, the first of which is who the fuck is Stephanie Hamill ?

T.I aint shit either. He and a lot of black male entertainers carry that mindset. Every time a black man does something wrong and we speak about it, we’re traitors to our race.

“How come they never protest black on black violence???”

Yes, or a black character that can be funny without bordering on/crossing over into stereotypical tropes

I could be completely wrong, but I think he’s coming from often seeing an interracial relationship as a story all on its own, where in The Good Place, the story wasn’t about the trials of being a mixed-race couple, but they just happened to be their respective races while the plot and action was all completely based

The answer will never disappoint.

I’ve been a fan of William’s since his role on High Maintenance as the neurotic doomsday prepper.

Chris Brown fans are mostly young black girls. They will defend his crap to the utmost high. It’s frightening.

“Why am I being arrested when those kids are free to ride around?”

why---WHY does anyone still support this guy?  He needs to go the FUUUUCK away.

The Good Place is fantastic television. Chidi ArianaGrande (nailed it!) is so earnest and hysterical all at the same time.  His reactions during the real life train paradox were so good I had to keep pausing the show until I stopped laughing.

The Good Place was my intro to William Jackson Harper and I was like “damn, this dude is fantastic, why have we not heard of him before now?” So that led me to finding out more about his work and, seriously, he’s the truth.

So... he apologize to Anita Hill yet?

“Don’t you know that Bernie marched with MLK? It’s about class, not race.

Bernie Sanders is almost worse, though. He will make a few concessionary statements about racism, but usually then ties it back to income inequality. He’s a one-message kind of guy, which doesn’t work when society has more than one kind of problem.
