@Crrash: I was wondering too. I will not watch the originals if Greedo shoots first.

@freedo50: And so it goes, people having very strong opinions about issues they don't have they education or intelligence to understand. Every time it snows in Washington it's proof that global warming does not exist!

Again I've been shown how much I suck playing with legos. At least my kids are impressed.

@AxelFonze: I went with a 32" LED backlit TV, and the BD looks amazing. Why? It's 4' from the couch. Our TV viewing isn't a central part to the living room or family room, it's in a spot where it fit. DVD's on it, even upscaled, don't look all that great. We don't have a fast DSL, so Netflix isn't that hot either

@Garamond: I have a hard time imagining Eddie Bauer being the source for expedition clothing. $1,000 isn't extreme at all, but it doesn't come from the mall.

@MasterxAce: I want this for my factory store I'm starting. The last time I checked square's rates were very high ~3%. My current merchant account is typically 1.69%, 2% or so if it's a rewards card ( I hate those). So I'm trying to get close to a cash register, but a bit slicker, and a touch screen pad could work

I've been eyeing tablets for a point of sale terminal. The software seems ready, but a compatible cash drawer is needed too.

For skiing, when it's below zero F, out come the down mittens. I can't wear them unless it's below zero or I'll sweat.

@CRAusmus: It's why there are GoreTex down jackets/pants.

For some reason I saved all of my games from when I first built a computer. I still buy hard copies of games, just because I like owning something. Great game, I have it too. Funny thing is is that Maniac Mansion looked so primitive comparatively. This was a great story, it probably could be brought back somehow,

I was looking at that thinking how many things could go wrong and you are dead, dead. A little breeze pulls you off the bridge early, you fall onto the chute... :(

@Rucky Bodgers (4:21 . . . damn): I've never been too impressed with welded steel stoves. My other issue with this stove is it seems the piping will cool the fire chamber, thus reducing the efficiency and cleanliness.

@hawkeye18: Cash, still accepted everywhere. Gift cards used to be say $25 for a $30 gift card. Now they just want you to take cash and turn it into something far less liquid, and a good chance it will be lost and never redeemed. Cash is not crass.

@anuran001: Their tests showed a mean of ~25 mg/l, which is higher than allowed by the TTB. The issue regarding thujone was should it have been banned anyway, since it wasn't a real scientific study which lead to it's ban. The thujone or the belief in it is what is supposed to be magical about absinthe. Without

@anuran001: I actually know quite a bit about alcoholic beverages and their production. First, the TTB regulates alcoholic beverages not the FDA. The TTB maintains that a beverage can contain wormwood or any of the other herbs that would contain Thujone, however they still need to be "Thujone Free".

@Angler: I hate to jump on this, but I feel the same way about someone pulling a phone out of their pocket. To me that seems comical, and I think "too bad you can't afford a watch". One of those generational things, eh?

@magista: But if you can get it in the US it's subject to the TTB regulations.

All US available absinthe is bullshit. Thujone is still prohibited.

@MavrixWK: All US absinthe is bullshit, it cannot have thujone in it, which is what was supposed to be magical. Wormwood itself sucks.
