Is it me or do most of the TSA folk look like the same bunch that used to do the screening for minimum wage? Everyone should be able to find some sort of work, however these "new" TSA govt. positions should be held up to quite a high level, say federal marshall. If they're not professional enough not to ridicule

@toby_tyler_poe: Old way. When you could arrive an hour before the flight and make it. I don't worry about driving (quite dangerous), I'm not worried about flying.

@thetickler: I don't fear driving every day, and there's a decent probability it could kill me. I do not fear terrorist attacks.

Living rural, I'd starve if I had to eat out often. And ordering food, who the hell would I be calling?

@Lahjik: The tanks are not reused.

@theGreenCabbage: Any stress can cause cracks. It could be thermal or even latent stresses in the tank materials.

@Ryan: Read the full article from the link, it was on the casters to try them in different locations. His other pic is with them on the floor.

A really great project. Haters gonna hate. 400 hrs isn't overkill for any project. I've been working on a wooden boat for 20 years. He could have picked black, but he wanted red. Who's to say they don't sound great, and if he's somewhat deaf (woodworking will get you there), who cares as long as he's happy with

Just hangin' out in ol' buggy.

It's cold up here, I'm installing a new black metal roof so that the roof gets hot. We don't have AC.

And then the TTB finds out you're sleeping in a distillery.

So salt still isn't a preservative? It pisses me off every time I see that lie.

@Tzalaf: That sounds like IBM back in the day defending main frames and terminals. I will always make hard backups of what I have. Trust no one.

After a bit of reading the red mud is mostly iron oxide, thus the red color. There are plenty of other compounds present as well. I would think it would contain the least amount of alumina as possible, since they are trying to produce aluminum after all. PH around 13. [www.redmud.org]

@tomsomething: I haven't figured out why it's red. Alumina is white. It does look like old barn paint, which was based on iron oxide. I'll keep looking.

@Jukebox hates exclusive content.: It will stop once the yeast has converted all the available sugar into alcohol and CO2, plus some "other" chemicals. It will stop if the alcohol content gets too high, say 18%, at which it poisons itself in it's own waste. Much like humans.

@Elanguescence: Nickel is also a bad combo too. Our skin is slightly acidic, so it will react. I'm going to make sure my next eyeglasses are all Ti to prevent the etching effect. I've never experienced the copper effect, but I know the smell.
