In NYC it's rent and all those other things you mentioned. As a native new yorker I say, this place is overrated.

I'm 30ish, latino, "hipster adjacent" and live in Brooklyn. I would not be interested in dating college students either (with the exception of grad students). Maybe I should consider moving to Austin.

Out of curiosity, are there no "late-20/early-30 somethings" hipsters in Austin? Because New York City and Los Angeles are filled with them.

I wrote a paper for my public policy graduate program recently on that same subject. I would love to read your thesis. The issues of racism, mexican migration, timber and petrochemicals really intersect when it comes to the push to outlaw marijuana.

I read an article on Huffington Post, apparently two ballot measures have been preliminarily approved for the 2014 election calender year. There is a third measure that looks likely to get on the ballot. The measures are based (more or less) on Colorado's amendment 64. Feel free to look up this information.

In NYC, $50 for an eighth of high quality is a good deal. Most people here probably pay more. Some people pay for delivery service, which is more expensive for reasons of convenience and variety. We're talking $75 an eighth or more even. Marijuana is almost never weighed (unless you know the person, are picking up

I would prefer to have neither a monarchical & aristocratic system, nor an oligarchical & plutocratic one.

I don't disagree with you. Cultures can contain archaic components and people in those cultures can choose to not disregard those archaic components.

Like I stated, this doesn't affect me, as I am no one's "royal subject". I have no experience living under a monarchy (ceremonial or absolute). Based on my politics, I would relate most to what you would call "Republicanism" or the views of groups such as Crass.

He should go to each and every one of their homes, knock on their doors, ask for them by screen name and proceed to beat the crap out of them. I feel like I saw that in one of his movies...

As an American my opinion on this subject is moot. But yeah, I'm gonna say fuck the whole idea of monarchy and aristocracy, ceremonial or not.

you beat me to it :(

I guess they don't think any of their tracks are gonna blow. Or at least blow up to the extent that the original artists are going to catch wind of them.

Lol. Well I am brown, so it's a definite possibility :p

I like how you roll. Although I've always been horrible at interpreting nonverbal cues.

Can I somehow blame the American Legislative Exchange Council for this?
