Hey - You left out vintage or classic motorsports.

Volvo S80. Can't be too careful.

I gave my son a Volvo 740 wagon. It couldn't be killed. I know. He tried. But he loved it and was fond of saying, "I make this cool."

Take one Opel Kadett chassis, wrap some sexy new bodywork around it, and voila! You get one Opel GT. Perhaps it wasn't the greatest performer, but it was a lightweight at just 2,000 lbs. That and it had the one of the coolest pop-up headlight designs known to man.

If they can refine the tarballs on the beach at Gulf Shores, they might be able to add a year or two to the total.

Every little bit helps when it comes to dropping the pounds, and it's even more important with unsprung weight. So Audi is nixing ye ol' steel springs for fiberglass on an "upper mid-size model" later this year. Our money's on the new A7. It's the obvious choice.

Quoting customers - not my beliefs.

I sold the first gen CVCC equipped Civics and Accords when they were new. It was a huge thing to buyers that they didn't need to purchase more expensive unleaded fuel to run them - a middle finger to The Man or the Gubmint or whatever the demon of the week was. Yes, leaded fuel was still available at the time. The…

On this day in 1942, gasoline rationing began in 17 Eastern states as an attempt to help the American war effort during World War II. By the end of the year, President Franklin D. Roosevelt had ensured that mandatory gasoline rationing was in effect in all 50 states.

It's the same color as the horse's ass!
