I disagree. You get an alert if your heir is unmarried once when he gets 16. You get your children and others asking for a partner via event, if they want one.

Well, the by far largest block of your comment was about how you picked a nobody and didn't do anything for decades then. That is exactly what I related to, you simply picked the wrong starting place. You said it yourself, you can't do anything as a count unless you really know the game. So what is your point? You've

Uhm, you simply missed everything where you can act. If you just sit there and wait for something to be shoved into your face ... have fun waiting some dozens years.

That isn't correct, you can conquer complete kingdoms and empires. You just need the fitting casus belli. Either use your chancellor at the right spot or look for a fitting plot or marry wisely, so that your children gain dibs on some nice titles.

If you don't own CK2 yet, you missed your chance during the first day of the Steam summer sales. Maybe they'll offer it again at the last day.

Yeah, the patches are awesome. Especially the enhanced plots really added to the gameplay. Finally I have better control over my vassals and can take some of their land if required, without being forced to provoke them into a rebellion first.

Well yes, for your very first game it is essential to pick your first "nation" wisely. It should be neither too big nor too small. Common sense is that for CKII it is the smartest for any beginner to play something in Ireland.

*nods in agreement*

Tsk, I felt almost guilty when I loved her already in "Beautiful Girls". She was just 15 then and rocked the movie, despite all the other female stars of the mid 90s.

Right, but usually with a context to the previous discussion string.

Sure, because randomness doesn't exist at all. It MUST be his fault!

Just press the right button in the appropriate moment!

I disagree, I thought exactly the opposite. I like what they achieve, but in direct comparison it showed that there are still worlds between "the real stuff" and the virtual duplicate.

They put in "Random Encounters" for a reason and the majority never heard about it. Problem?

Nice in theory, but I'd fear the possible results. :)

I'm so sorry that some of us grabed the better games already. :P

Why? Most of us already own the 2 better games, thus it is quite logical that SR3 wins.

I wouldn't bother yourself with Vicky 2. Vicky 1 was great, part 2 is far away from the level of its predecessor or EU3 or CK2.

Uhm, that was "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".

Now playing

And the same trailer on Youtube, to make it easier to share the joy and love.
