No, the decision should be based off whom the coaches think gives the Vikings the best chance to win. Who cares what Teddy’s progress is if the coaches who see these guys in practice every day think Keenum is better?

Digg was a bad miss. He was an elite high school recruit (I think top 10 overall) who was an absolute stud in college in the very few games where he was healthy and had even an a below average QB throwing him the ball. Nobody at MD is surprised he’s an NFL star.

Local and campus police records do not have any evidence of Billy Preston being in a single-car crash this weekend, as head coach Bill Self claimed yesterday in his explanation...

Even accepting those premises (the first one of which, especially, I find dubious), you could easily find someone able to bring that exact skill set to the table for $5 million a year. And that is being incredibly generous.

God this shit drives me crazy. I guess it’s not surprising coming from a group of businessmen who have spent their lives being vastly overpaid. It’s the same shit that happens at big companies everywhere. Somebody, please, explain to me what evidence there is that Roger Goodell is better at this job than someone who

And now I just saw a replay from a different angle, and he was clearly fumbling before the ball even reached the pylon. So this play actually has nothing to do with the pylon rule, and it was a stupid challenge.

The pylon falls before he fumbles though. That nose of the ball clearly breaks the plane. It doesn’t strike me as that bad a challenge. A rule that was stupid in the first place was misapplied. Hard to blame the coach for that, even when that coach is John Fox.

I find the whole charade of these speeches difficult to buy into, but I think looking at the reactions of Ray Lewis’s teammates to his incomprehensible speeches and comparing to the abject nonchalance/confusion of the Bucs here would suggest otherwise.

Oh, that’s because it’s been sitting under a heat lamp for days.

Everyone Failed Braxon Beverly

It’s a valid discussion point, and people often don’t understand that it’s the key question. When people wonder, “where does the money go?” this is the answer.

No I didn’t. Wilson is shorter than Brees. But regardless, you are correct that they are both exceptions to the rule.

To be fair, Russell Wilson is literally the only person his height to be a good starting QB in this league. There have been many other talented college passers who were that short and flamed out. Not that crazy to me that teams would pass because of his size.

My guess is the reason is that most parents don’t love the idea of sending their children off to be professional athletes in Europe when they are 18 years old. But I do think it will become much more common if the NCAA doesn’t figure out soon that its jig is up and it’s time to start sharing revenues with players.

That’s pretty damn good. My favorite still though is that Miami had Clinton Portis, Frank Gore, and Willis McGahee at the same time. Unreal (and their fullback was Najeh Davenport).

I remember Sam Horn. That dude could wallop some baseballs. I also remember Scott Erickson. He got lots of grounds balls. That was a good thing to do. Still is.

(We should all probably drink more water than we do though.)

Counterpoint: Earth has humans and should therefore be last.

So unfair of her to “hound” him into, you know, getting a job instead of drinking while she’s at work.
