Like any manual steered car, it helps to get in rolling first.  But yes, Popeye arms would have helped. And it would have helped if it weren’t a single lane road with a ditch that you had to half pull into, just to get the ass end anywhere near pointed towards the door...

But it’s a chevy... So either the exterior is an eyesore or the interior is... And it’ll need a new transmission at 100,000 miles anyway.

My last Jetta had 300,000 miles on it when I sold it (still running). Over the 16 years we owned it, I drove it primarily, but my wife drove it one summer and all four kids learned to drive in it (including the boy, who liked to drive the corners in the snow).  I never had to replace the clutch and I would hold it on…

I’m ok with the 3rd party car love swag. The VW Bus, muscle cars, etc. I don’t care for, and wouldn’t wear, the the actual marquee branded clothes like the model above.

My kitchen sucks. It’s too small and the upper counters are too low. The only items allowed on my counter top are the coffee maker (daily use) and the toaster oven (at least twice a week use).

I loved the simplicity of my ‘88 Nissan Pulsar NX. All the controls other than the turn signals and horn were on the dash, but close enough that you could reach them without removing your hands from the wheel.

And everyone on watch in CIC, especially on the Surface side.... Hell, even the EW’s (Sorry, I’m old school) should have seen a metric crap-ton of radar reflection off the incoming ship. Someone should have noticed and sounded the collision alarm.

If they can do it properly, it should be something that has very little competition in its (admittedly niche) segment, but would have growth potential to go beyond.

Our TV’s are older and we’ll probably sell one to the kids this year, and replace it with a 4K / HDR set. My receiver is so old (circa 2004) that I’ll be replacing that as well. I still have 2 x 42" Samsung 720p Plasma TV’s (2008 and 2009 models). I haven’t noticed any issues in the 8 years we’ve owned them. We are contemplating selling one of them to one of our simi-adult kids (17, 19, or 21) when we move this summer.
