But the dealer busted, so I came out way ahead.

Not necessarily my worst first day, but definitely my worst job. (And better jobs include a 6 year stint in the Navy and a month as a car salesman.)

VW electronics are notoriously finicky...

Yikes, I haven’t had that issue fortunately!

I could never get an iPod to connect reliably in my Passat. (Or save the iTunes Tag data, but that’s another day’s rant.) For me, when the radio defaults, it goes to the SD card.

I’ve not had any issues with the Aux cord, or bluetooth pairing in either of our VW’s (her ‘09 Jetta, my ‘12 Passat).

It’s not that. I can drive to Walmart, listening to FM or Sirius, turn off the car, exit without touching the radio and upon my return, sometimes the radio will come on when the car starts and sometimes it won’t.

My wife has an ‘09 VW Jetta SE. Sometimes when you start up, the radio is off, other times it resumes with which ever source you were listening to before.

I say Nice Price. And that’s after I gave a way a ‘83 Tioga Arrow on a Chevy G30 chassis this weekend.

I had a Pueblo made Mk3 Jetta and it’s was dead reliable. I sold it after 16 years and 300K miles.

As I recall, for the Mk3 Jetta’s, the GTI’s and maybe the GLX’s were built in Germany with Mexican made radios and the GL’s and GLS’s were built in Mexico with German made radios....

I travel almost weekly for work and I take one of my game systems with me. I only use the browser to get past hotel landing pages. But then, maybe I’m an exception, I have a Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 (plus the wife’s handhelds...) Why can’t I choose more than one option?
