You’re slightly off in your timing.

I used to work for Cingular in their corporate headquarters. It was a great place to work. It’s a shame that the corporate culture from SBC (masquerading as AT&T) won out. From my perspective the merger was a nightmarish step back in time.

Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorprated is leaving Feb 1st. I highly recommend that you binge watch it this weekend.

Unless you mistake is not scheduling or testing your backups....

I have used CoPilot with an old, off service, phone (T-Mo MyTouch 4G) as a replacement for a GPS. Add in DailyRoads Voyager for a dash cam, and I was very happy camper. Especially if you travel in areas where service is questionable.

We were recently looking for a new (to us) car for the wife’s daily driver. The kids are growing up and moving out, so we don’t need a 9 passenger Suburban anymore. We ended up at the local Toyota dealer, brought in by a 1 in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance to win a new car or one of a metric shit-ton of

I’m a messy desk sort of guy, but for certain things (especially cords) I’m pretty anal. I wrap my lights like the image below, it makes it super easy to plug in next year to check for bad bulbs. Plus the size of the bundle helps me to identify the relative length.

Worst Ride: Fiat XL. As a rental I thought it would be fun... Like a SUV but cuter... Instead I got a behemoth with a worse turn radius than my Suburban.

GM always frustrates me....

The real question is how much did you pay for it...

I say you buy the ‘85 BiTurbo from the latest Nice Price or Crack Pipe. After all, it won’t loose much value....

We once bought a hundred year old farm house in rural Texas. The first thing we did was gut the kitchen. In addition to two desiccated mice we also found a poison trap that a mouse had been using as a bed and a snake skin.

My only problem with Nice is that the beaches (I saw back in the mid 90’s) were all pebbles, not sand.

We’ve semi cut the cord. We do pay for the local channels through AT&T U-Verse. But only because we got a bigger signing bonus (that outweighed the additional cost) for bundling two services. To that we use Netflix quite a bit, plus we have a fairly extensive movie collection thanks to Black Friday $1 movies and the

I’ve got a 2012 SE w/ Sunroof and Nav and the interior treatments are a good bit nicer and / or was less annoying than the standard SE or Wolfsburg.

My only gripe with trucker is... “your turn signal to indicate that you would like to change lanes, does NOT grant you the right to change lanes. Especially when vehicles already occupy the lane you wish to move into.” I see this happen at least once a week, a truck moving 71 wants to pass a truck moving 69 and rather

Why a vintage WWII truck? Because virtually no electronics and a multi-fuel engine.

The list of cities is pretty limited....

Just to follow up... We had some torrential rain yesterday with arterial flooding. My second daughter called to say that she was caught in a flash flood and her van had died. I drove over in our Suburban, pulled the van out of the worst of the flooding (mid thigh) and took her home.

While the SUV would have gotten

Having driven a rental 200 and owning a NMS Passat, I’ll disagree, but to each his own.
