Perhaps both....

My third car was an '84 Old Cutlass Calais (Cutlass Supreme with all the options). I had the alternator die one evening. Since the Calais had the Olds 307 instead of the Chevy 305, a rebuilt alternator was $120 instead of $20.

We have a mix of both around here. The yard I usually go to is one of the "they pull the parts" places, I go in part because they do the work and to be honest they tend to have the best price around. My backup is a "you pull it" place, but it tends to cost a little more and I have to do the work.

Way to go!

It's a longer story that I want to type... But I have picked up a couple of driver's side windows for my MK III Jetta at the junkyard for $40 each. (The only bad news is that I've emptied the cheapest junkyard... Now the next best option is $55.)

Having moved from South Carolina to Kansas, I can say, that I do not miss the annual yellow waves of pollen clouds coming from the trees.

There's one within 5 blocks of me.

But way overpriced.

I'd say what's the Apple of the car dealers, but then you said Tesla....

Unless you abuse the grappling hook....

I really like Dying Light as a world. The game play is more inline with what I would expect from an open world environment. Until you get the grappling hook.... Then there's the possibility of abusing the grappling hook to survive what should kill you or to "fast travel" over the environment.

Dying Light isn't as much parkour as it's being able to do the things you would do in real life, climb away from the zombies! It feels more realistic to me over the parkour style in the Assassin's Creed games.

Eh, I'm 44 and I love Dying Light over other similar open world games like Dead Island which lack the realism of playing / moving in the 3rd dimension. Or more cartoonish games such as Dead Rising 3. And I really hate when I'm playing an scripted path game in an visually open world such as Lord of the Rings: War in

But what about the kids in the back? Or is it your mother-in-law?

It's been a while since I've visited the Metroplex... I know that last year the Grand Prairie code enforcement vehicles were F-150's.

We use to own an Excursion, back in the good old days when gas was $4 a gallon. (And the thing had a 44 gallon tank...) While it’s narrower than the H1 Hummer, it is longer and taller.

I have a pretty good selection of tools and I can always take advantage of the “loaner” tools at my local auto parts store. I’m already on a first name basis with several of those guys and they routinely give me discounts.

I have 5 cars (and an RV) and I really don't recommend it. It's a bitch to maintain 5 cars. Especially when they're two VW's, two Dodge's and two Chevy's. and only 1/2 of them were build in this millennium.

The only thing that bothers me are the high level wispy clouds that move in a blocky / zig zag pattern. And the two construction workers who NEVER move. (Not that I expect them to actually work, but at least take coffee breaks.)

Now playing

I was working at Cingular Corporate back in 2007 - 2009... Cingular was going through contract negotiations with our call center workers. And since our corporate office also housed one of our call centers, the salaried associates were meeting to discuss plans in case the union went on strike.
