I spent a few years "baby-sitting" the Big E. There's always a Aegis cruiser or destroyer sitting near by. The Aegis ship typically handles air traffic control outside the takeoff and landing operations and is responsible for providing air defense from anti-ship missiles or air threats.

As a family of 7, with 4 teens, we have been using a shared Google Calendar to keep everyone informed and to assist with scheduling. Want to plan an event? Check the calendar to see if there's a completing or conflicting event.
