Most people are able to avoid situations where they are required to run X distance in Y time. How did this happen to you?

I'm always amazed at how quick Deadspin is with this stuff. I live in Houston and we just heard about this an hour ago. I fully expect that in ten years, Timothy Burke will be posting awesome gifs of sports moments that haven't happened yet created by people who have not yet been born.

I'm not ashamed to admit that what scares me is the judgement from others.
