I will argue that at least in this case... 10,000,000 went towards goods and services... so I would say there was some trickle down. Though I imagine that most of those goods ands services are premium cost anyway so the trickle is not amazing.

The one thing that I can appreciate about Tesla is that at least when they say a price that it starts at you can physically purchase a vehicle at that price versus all the other EVs out there saying that they start at 40 grand but then the closest that you can find to it is something that starts at 64,000.

dude, average us daily commute is 41 miles... 5 days no charge... why does everyone think we need to go 1000miles on a charge when we can’t go more than 3 without takin a piss.

So I do have a thought, does this mean that all the platforms will be capable of the 800v system without hardware changes? That just screams overbuilt for the entry level models. The good news is that someone will be able to buy a used base 5 years later, and know that it was never “overclocked” and have motors that

The funny thing about Dodge doing this, is what they are not saying about the future of Charger/challenger, not that there wont be one, but that there will not be one with a V8 powering it. The way they are laying it out is that the charger and challenger as we know them are ending, there is a new platform for them

you forgot the part about sinking in the sand and calling for a tow or watching the ocean eat it, because of lack of situational awareness and the 4+ tons that the electric jeeps weigh

I had to do a double take, thinking, was it “that” Zach Bowman..... I agree on your statement... more is good.

125$ for a pullover hoodie with “DELOREAN” in a futuristic font?!?@!... CP all day..

So there are three camps that I am trying to align here... Dodge either has this super amazing plan and it going to be awesome, or its going to flop so hard that 2030 will be the last year of dodges:

Its likely that they still go through the salary workforce and identify who has what work history.. I imagine the ones doing the assembling are the ones who wrote the work instructions... save HR and accounting for the forklifts and material handling. Also I don’t think they can have all the salary workforce on the

Dodge is going to play the same game they do now, most power, worst mileage per charge... and be all IDGAF about it.

we drove under that exact underpass on our way out of town during the start of the storm and my wife asked why ppl were stopping.. and why we werent.. I then explained this point of stopping will more likey cause an accident to more than us. followed by this is why we drive 10 yr old cars and have full coverage. Funny

yup.. iowa here.. old house.. and we keep it at 77 from 6-8am, and 4-10 pm.. and 79 on the off.. we have yet to be dehydrated, 7 years and counting.

Weird take:

funny enough, that is what I own and pull behind my Grand Cherokee...

I am one of the few, I have a Grand Cherokee for the towing and have put many a 2x8 & 2x10's on the interior of my jeep. I am the guy who wants a wrangler with the bed so I can haul my sackcrete and construction stuff on my hobby weekends.. I just can’t justify the new price, and I am a committed jeep buyer; but I

built in angry eyes for all times :) take that jeep

A 2014ish 300srt would fit the bill, it even has jets behind it:)

right? its like another example of “oh sh**, we forgot to integrate the touch screen, just slap it in the middle of the dash

Why not hit up Copart and look for a manual hail damaged vehicle... if its a beater, who cares for some dents on the outside?
