A quick look at seeing he lives in Santa Cruz should also make his claim seem like bullshit. Santa Cruz to Redwood City in rush hour is probably a 2 hour commute. I used to make a commute from Santa Cruz to Santa Clara that would take over an hour most days. Going through Highway 17 was hell every day doing this.

This kind of comment is why we need downvotes here.

I don’t like your opinion.

HA! This isn’t surprising. The culture we live in now is this:

Kind of, but not exactly. I’ve worked a contract gig at EA Tiburon, and aside from your paycheck coming from the contracting company, you’re pretty much “working for EA.” You’re fully integrated onto the team—made up of both FTE and contract employees. You work at the building, sit with the team, are given EA

The funny (see sad) part is that in just recent history alone it’s the sports players who have been accused of being rapists.

I’m British, doesn’t seem like particularly British humour to me.

It seems like he was trying to make a boring “lol nerds talk to guuuuuuurls?!” joke with a spin. A spin that got itself so dizzy it fell flat on its face.

I feel like he was trying to imply he didn’t know they had sex at all (which is bad) but added consensual which suddenly turns it from “they’re virgins” to “they’re rapists” and frankly both things are really bad things to say about other people???

Nobody is known more for respecting boundaries then, uh, *checks notes* football hooligans?

Illumination movies box office take:

Christopher Walken.

I cant understand how people can justify that amount of time just to unlock one character. You could play some awesome single player games with those 40 hours, and it wouldn’t be repetitive grinding. Its just stupid.

The worst part is that in all likelihood, it’s not his fault. It’s likely a high-ranking executive at EA that called the shots on this.

And it’s hard not to feel bad for all the developers who crunched their asses off to ship this game and had nothing to do with loot crates.

FYI its about 40 hours of gameplay to unlock each character.

As someone who’s still slogging through Witcher 3, I do have to chime in on the comment here - for all the praise it got, for all that this article says it transcends the genre.... it really, really, does not feel like that to me. If anything, it feels like even more of a map-icon hunt then DA:I did.

What story there

Or that you can borrow from the past in ways that don’t try to pretend the bad stuff didn’t happen or wasn’t a part of it.

Doom and Wolfenstein were hits, but not “massive”, as in the same scale as Skyrim or these microtransaction-laden AAA games.

Err why were the age of consent laws based on sexuality?
