Not sure if this was what she was wearing during the harassment incident described, but in the pic shown of Khaljiit above, there’s enough cleavage that it’s not unreasonable to assume that she expects to get extra viewers out of it.

I think this article is trying to extrapolate too much from a short 1-2 sentence quote which was phrased too poorly to specifically communicate its intended point(s).

If that were the goal of the article, why would it contain passages like:

You mean like this?

Who reads “gameboy lists” though?

“Most sites, in regards to rom hacks, will simply link you to the mod, but I have assumed the opposite to be the case, based on absolutely no evidence whatsoever”

That’s not how copyright works. Disney can’t put Goku in their cartoon without Toei’s permission and simply say “our artist drew it, so it’s our character now”. Likewise, game developers cannot legally make unlicensed adaptations of others people’s comics or moves.

Are you implying that making a meme out of someone’s character should nullify their copyright, particularly if it’s used by a “good” movement?

This article was not an Okami review, it was an article about the feeling one gets when they realize they don’t like playing a game nearly so much as they like its style and sentiment.

At this point, airing dirty laundry (or manufacturing a crisis) is good business for streamers. “Oops, I said something homophobic!” “Oops, I yelled a racial slur!” “Oops, I cheated on my wife!”.

This was my experience as well. It kills the replay value when you start cycling through a bunch of different characters and it seems to have no effect on gameplay.

‘But, as people will undoubtedly shout from the rafters here and on Reddit, “so what? The game is boring otherwise’

It’s probably also important point out that there’s still a stigma surrounding attraction to animated characters - whether they’re human or otherwise. Anime has become popular enough that it can be easy to forget, but even now there’s still some circles where anime fans are sneered at with the assumption that all they

There’s a magnitude to it. It’s one thing to roleplay within the confines of a hobby as a gamer, cosplayer, or re-enactor... it’s another thing to seriously claim that you identify as a non-human or non-existing species. If we’re being honest, the far-end LARPers and goths who in their actual personal life claim to

The thing is, having a kink is generally considered “private info” and not the basis of a public persona. Wearing that kind of information on your sleeve in such an in-your-face way is bound to draw negative attention, whether it’s all totally justified or not.

“We constantly see rushed jobs and imperfections even in 2-D anime”

Not enough sarcasm in the headline.
