They don't settle for second best or third for that matter, fourth in 1966.

I specifically call Hyundai "High yoon day" to differentiate from Honda. Most people look at me and say "you mean 'hon die'?"

I see, my thought was that you bought it and was unimpressed.

Do the math, or ask your dealer to print out both options of a low interest or rebate situation. 0% only works if the savings on interest matches or exceeds the rebate offered. Some cars that manufacturers are really trying to move will sometimes offer a large rebate AND 0%. Find out what you get with each direction.

EPA Estimates are just that, estimates. Their purpose is to give an apples to apples comparison of different car's mileage. Did you know the EPA's test cycle never breaks 62mph, and the average speed is 45mph? Hybrids are very different, and the EPA hasn't come up with a cycle that will be accurate. That isn't unique

This young lady is way sexier than the one $kay posted. No offense $kay! I like my ladies with some meat on the bones!

Heater is the biggest factor I see in your driving habit, the engine has to run to get that thing up the the right temp and has to continue to run to keep your coolant at temp. Speed is second, dropping to 60 mph will significantly increase gains, dropping to 55 would be ideal for hypermileing, not always ideal, but

Pull the trigger, that 2.0L Turbo is a peach, fuel efficient if you can avoid putting your foot down to hear the intoxicating intake sound they pipe into the cabin.

I've always heard it as Red for me (bad battery), red for you(good battery), black for you, block for me.

Was your a/c or heater on? What kind of speeds were you doing? Is the Engine broken in yet 2-3k miles? Did you reset the fuel economy average when you filled up? Do you live in a hilly area? What does the efficiency coach say about your braking, acceleration, and cruising?

Dat RTA Squat.

14 gal*43= 602 + 18 mi electric range= 620 total, actually its 602+21 epa estimated. It's not impossible, by the EPA combined cycle to get that. You can't drive a hybrid like a normal car and expect it to get the max mileage. You got to take advantage of all the tools the vehicle gives you. Are you sure you're not

I know, as a Ford salesman, I was excited too, but the hybrid route makes more sense for the US than it does for Europe. Diesel here is still a bad word unfortunately. Ford probably realized that there was a gap in the lineup with the discontinuation of the Escape Hybrid.

I've driven the standard hybrid on a 30 mile trip and returned 54 MPG before. No heater/ac helps, as does driving in the slow lane where the trucks are averaging 55mph. 27mpg would be hard for me to achieve.

I don't think that's what happened at all. The Flex's sales numbers aren't great. I'd be willing to bet Ford saw an opportunity to attack the Prius. Thus far, it's worked.

Not Seems, that's exactly how it works.

Titanium. Check out the various Energi and hybrid forums, there are plenty of good tips for taking advantage of the vehicle's powertrain design.

No one taught you how to use it, sync without myford touch is awesome with a USB stick full of music.
