Is this what privilege is? Women around the world suffer and die in childbirth due to inadequate facilities and lack of access and these women are choosing to do that. To me, this is no different than the people who kill their children by foregoing medical care for them. This woman should be in jail.  I am so angry…

What is wrong with people.....

I used the Amazon registry only and it was great. Used the completion discount to purchase the crib, a dresser, and a ton of other stuff. Also it was free delivery because it was all Prime. I was surprised that the furniture wasn’t excluded but it wasn’t so I took full advantage of that discount. 

My husband and I are meal prep people so we do it all on the weekends when the little is taking his mid-day nap. We were doing it before he was born, but now I have really seen the benefit because we have so much more free time during the week after we come home. 

I am hoping to keep it going to the point where it isn’t anything but normal for him. Crossing my fingers at least. 

I have had the same routine with my 18 month old since he started daycare at 4 months. He puts up very little fuss and we make it out the door in 30 minutes from the time he wakes up - this even includes time for him to watch Sesame Street while I finish dressing. My husband got countless comments on his from other dad’s wishing they had something similar.

Breastfed little farts until he was 15 months old. Wanted to make it to a year, then 18 months, but he self weaned. Broke my heart to stop I must admit.

I never covered up because every time I tried little farts would wail like a banshee. That would have been infinitely more distracting, I never did, but I did feel like spiting people sometimes. So open air feeding it was.

I agree with this 100%! My 1 year old is learning to walk and when he falls we usually tell him that he is ok and go back to whatever we were previously doing. I am intrigued by parents who think that consoling their children over ever scrape and scratch is necessary. The child is going to learn from your example.
