The first truck i ever owned was a 95 Nissan Hardbody (D21) SE-V6 KC 4x4. I would literally go right now and buy a "brand new" Hardbody if Nissan sold em again. It was the most reliable vehicle i ever owned, and i abused the hell out of it.

so this pathfinder based mockup wasn't too far off. All the body lines are mostly accurate. New navara looks good to me.

I could see the US version of their midsize truck looking different if they want it to look similar to the next titan. Ive been a Nissan guy since my first vehicle, a 95 nissan hardbody 4wd 5spd, so i hope Nissan doesn't soften down the frontier, but the above truck doesn't look bad at all. I care more about the

lincoln's styling is starting to grow on me, and the MKC is the best looking in their lineup IMO.

I considered one of these Oreion Sand Reepers until i remembered i live in texas and kind of want AC in the summer. http://oreionmotors.com/reeper

lol. id much rather have the kaiser m715 concept jeep put out a few years ago, but the part of me that likes the subaru brat saw some potential in the fiat strada.

Its not the truck id like to see come from jeep, but a "jeep-ified" of this wouldnt be totally terrible.

funny, the dealership brochure i have for my 1985 300zx says the car has a 0.31 drag coefficient. So the 2015 murano = 1985 300zx. lol

I see this a lot in Texas on IH 10 between San Antonio and Houston. Most of the ones i see are bobtail trucks with a small pickup in the "box", with a another small truck or SUV in tow. Usually they are headed for Mexico, for some reason the Mexicans come up here and buy up all our used compact pickups.

Pretty Sure that camo truck is a Ram 2500/3500.

Now playing

I humbly ask, before you make blanket statements about skill, dedication, blood, sweat, and tears, i challenge you to watch some of this guys videos. Not all of the people who enjoy this hobby go to the store and buy an RC car "Ready to Run". Some people actually see it as a way to be creative and create/build and

The NV is the ugliest?

Bonus points go to xterra for still having the option of a manual trans. Although for the life of me i could never find them on local dealer lots.

i think the fullsize NV's look fine for vans, hell, id even say it looks better than the rest of of the commercial vans. but that front end wont sell in todays truck market.

This engine won't be going in current frontier. Nissan has already said next gen frontier will be coming after new titan. This is just to gauge interest, and for testing, although this one is tarted up for show, there are likely a few more diesel frontys at nissan for testing purposes. Much like the Frankenstein test

Yeah, ugly indeed, but not indicative of final product (hopefully). The nv2500 is wider than the current Titan, which is while it bulges out by the headlights, and the test mule is a "franken-truck" with the cab and bed of current Titan, front end of the NV, and likely the next gen titans power train and chassis.

Doubtful they will, the front end looks to me to have been taken from the NV2500 vans, and just "tacked" on. If they do go with that front end, then they are destined to fail with this truck.

These look like the same test mules that have been spotted a few times the past few months. Likely just testing powertrain, suspension and chassis. the cab and bed are from current titan, and the front end looks to be taken from the NV2500. hopefully they dont end up using the NV2500 front on the final version.
