I agree with the buddy system. This doesnt relate to the vehicle, but having proper supplies is a must too. Water, food, first aid etc. you never know where you may get stuck.

As a loyal Nissan 4x4 owner in the states, I'd go with a Nissan Y60 Patrol diesel because Nissan.
Interesting article. I'm gonna go play fallout 3 now.
My first choice of a green car would have been a British racing green E-type, but thats already been posted. Runner up will have to be the Datsun 510. Dont know why but i absolutely love the look of these things, especially in green.
I dont care what make or model it is. If it looks like this, it needs to die. No car should be forced to live like this.
@epidemike. i own a 92 pathfinder (trail rig), a 95 hardbody 4x4 (sold sadly), a 85 300zx, which amazingly gets about 25/28 MPG. My DD is a 02 infiniti QX4 (basically a R50 pathy with infiniti badges).
im a pretty big nissan/infiniti guy, so i was excited about the juke until i saw it. i thought it was pretty ugly. but it has actually started to grow on me.
Hate is a strong word, i dont hate any car.....except for a 1973 ford ranchero, but that car tried to kill me. I simply find it ugly and impractical, and thats my opinion.
I think an obvious "WTF were you thinking" car is a Smart car. Being in the US, the little cars arent as popular here as they are in in europe, but i still understand the desire to have a little gas saver for a daily commute...........but why oh why do people buy the Smart car? its hideous, and still gets less than…
seems every one felt it necessary to tell me how hideous the wheels on my 95 nissan D21 hardbody were. I may be alone in this, but I always found them sexy, in a utilitarian sort of way.
just put some tokico struts and springs on it, big improvement over the saggy worn out oem stuff. ill eventually add coilovers, but I'll end up doing a VG30ET or VG30DETT swap first.
On top of my list is my 85 300zx non turbo. It may not be the best Z nissan/datsun built, but for a nearly 30 year old car, the steering is sharp, and the engine still peppy. It puts a smile on my face every time I turn the key.
