On production car side, Mercedes makes V8s for Aston

They are not properly monetizing this. One thing I noticed at the Rolex 24 is the marked benefit Lexus derives from its GTD cars. They are flogging the hell out of “F-Sport” and Lexus Racing. There is very little connection, in my mind, between the F1 and MB-AMG. I would certainly not buy a Mercedes, because I

I don’t see it. Formula E is cool as a novelty but that lasts about 3 laps. Then you’re just stuck with slow cars driven by people who washed out of other racing series circling the track.

He’s definitely a racer. He participates in, and occasionally finishes, races. That doesn’t mean he’s a good one, but he’s out there and we aren’t.

Might have something to do with the fact that Lewis Hamilton as talented as he is happens to be an insufferable fuckwit and his fan base more so crying about him not getting a knighthood ffs

Since when does Aston Martin have money to have their works F1 team?

Am I the only one wondering if Formula 1 itself is in trouble?

Don't forget that the current Mercedes team used to be Honda before they were (briefly) Brawn GP.

Aston, who is linked to Red Bull, who uses Honda engines, is going to take over the reigns of the Mercedes works team, using engines provided by Mercedes.

Agree. I’m amazed we can make jokes about this. But since we can...

Looks like an average French country Sunday morning, the youths driving back from the club at 5-6 am ... Don’t ask me how I know.

Creative sexual fetishes.

No he's got a point. The blackwing was supposed to be the new Cadillac exclusive high end engine. But if they can't use it, what will it be used for?

CTS-V will have 640+hp.

Martini McBride: Soo disappointed, probably cant even safely merge on the highway...

Get a Fit.  Just don’t take it to Shilling’s dealer for an inspection.

I think the Honda Element is the right answer here. New enough and Honda enough to be reasonably reliable (I like the Isuzu but wouldn’t want to depend on it), and the Honda is cheap enough that if it gets wrecked or stolen (both very real possibilities with a street-parked car in NYC), it wouldn’t be a huge loss.

During the half second that I have glanced the picture before reading headline, I thought a new Lancer EVO was coming. But that hope died quickly.
