He's looking more in the $3000 category.

Since I have no idea how to edit my previous post, I should note that my dad is an auto mechanic for GM (specifically Chevy), so for him to get a GM car makes the most logical sense for a kid who currently has no job to really afford anything by himself.

My 15 year old brother is looking at getting a Cobalt as his first car for this very same reason. Cheap, and basic transportation.

Is anyone else turned off by this dash? It looks like 2 iPads stacked next to each other.

Whoohoo! I'm number 7!

I think a Jeep amusement park would be cool. SO MUCH OFF-ROADING!

Well did they find it at least?

Coincidence that they only sold 86 cars the first month of production? Was that on purpose?

Such a weird video, but such a great song.

I saw a XK on the road yesterday when I was driving home, and it was a car that I completely forgot about until that moment. With the F-Type doing its thing, there is almost no reason for the outdated (and kinda ugly) XK.

The NFL is technically a non-profit organization. Yes, the owners make their money, but I don't think they have any trouble raking in the green backs.

Ooof. That white millionth one has had its roof squashed pretty badly.

Glad to see that someone is using the rule of thirds to give us great photographs like this one.

Jag seems to really be pushing in a new direction. Once a forgotten luxury brand, they have been pushing hard to succeed in a very tough market these days.

This newest Veyron is, of course, a special edition. In fact, it's probably illegal for Bugatti to make a new Veyron without calling it a special edition. At this rate, they're all so special that none of them are special.

Looks very nice!

You're not crazy. It's pretty good looking, red plastic trim bits and all.

This is the first picture of this car that I have seen that actually shows the shape of the body. It's pretty swoopy. I kinda like it.

The other big news is Lamborghini's hybrid carbon fiber/aluminum chassis, which uses CFRP for the firewall and the transmission tunnel that's glued and riveted to the aluminum space frame. If we won't see this in the next Audi R8, I'll eat only vegetables for a week.

Good point, but there is a difference if the car is in park, and a car with it's ignition off while it is still in drive.
