Speaking as a Tester that just randomly got "laid off" about a month ago this happens...a lot. Stories like these are akin to weather reports.

This is the game that is the reason I love Mass Effect so much. ME's creators had Star Control firmly in mind when working on that game and it shows. I've owned this game several times on several platform (including the sweet 3DO version) and constantly think about it to this day.

How was it "trash"? Invite a friend over and I dare the both of you not to cheese mightily trying to play a decent Kinect game. People pay money at places like GameWorks and Dave and Busters to play motion games and I don't see those places going out of business so obviously it's fun to somebody.

The already did with The Eye and that relatively flopped as well. I love how they've been bagging on MS and touting their system for cheaper but to get the exact same features the consoles costs exactly the same AND the PS Kinect won't work as well or be as well supported as the Kinect because it's NOT standard in…

LOVE Populous. To this day one of my Top 10 games and Molyneux's peak (that and the original Syndicate) so I'm glad to see a game in its vein coming out.
