same here. i might possibly hold out for awhile before buying it though. BC2 was a complete no-brainer first day purchase (largely fueled by the excellent and polished BETA I might add) but I may or may not hold off on BF3 first day.

Just got this on Steam. Of course I'd heard about it being a Double Fine/Tim Scheafer fan going all the way back to the 90's. I've only played for about an hour and already I can tell you it's worth every cent of $15.

and servers were up and down and if it wasn't any of that stuff then it was Punkbuster acting up. In spite of all that I still out 250+ hours on BC2.....

to this day i still say the same thing about Bad Company 2 and BF2. BC2 was espeically horrible for the first few months it went live so news like this isn't really news to those familiar with recent-ish Battlefield games.
